Journey

Our journeys on this planet are unique. What is your life path? Working with a skilled practitioner brings healing insights that help illuminate your next steps. Insight counseling often brings relief, affirmation, and even joy to your personal journey.

My Journey

My father was an avid amateur photographer and took many photos of me as a child. I grew up in historic Concord, Massachusetts, in a neighborhood overlooking Louisa May Alcott’s (Little Women) home. I graduated from Connecticut College and earned a Masters in Education from Brown University in Providence, RI. My father passed away at that time. Deeply affected, I began my own journey of self-development. I made a commitment to a lifelong daily practice of TM (Transcendental Meditation), and set off for San Francisco with my boyfriend in a tiny sports car. Northern California—with its cutting edge approaches to personal growth, blue skies and sunshine—became my home.

I was part of the MA program in Transpersonal Psychotherapy at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, and trained in Rosen Method Bodywork, psychic channeling, enneagram analysis, and pursued my major interest in astrology, doing both readings and teaching. I have been in private practice for over 25 years. I was part of the healer’s group at Dolphin Dream in Pleasant Hill, and I am currently part of the team of healers at Angel Heart 4 You in Benicia.

I treasure the memory of my father, in part through the many photos, like this one, he took of me as a child.

Inspiration

I’m inspired by BTS, the South Korean band and international K-Pop sensation, whose danceable albums express the value of individuation and personal acceptance stemming from Jungian psychology (check out “Map of the Soul: Persona”). BTS spoke at the United Nations on a theme I wholeheartedly support: love yourself; speak yourself.
