My Journey

I grew up in Concord, Massachusetts in a neighborhood overlooking Louisa May Alcott’s (Little Women) home. I graduated from Connecticut College and earned a Masters in Education from Brown University in Providence, RI. Deeply affected when my father passed away, I began my own journey of self-development. I made a commitment to a lifelong daily practice of TM (Transcendental Meditation), and then set off for San Francisco with my boyfriend in a tiny sports car. Northern California—with its cutting edge approaches to personal growth, blue skies and sunshine—became my home. I completed three years of the MA program in Transpersonal Psychotherapy at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, and trained in Rosen Method Bodywork, psychic channeling, tarot, and pursued my major interest in astrology, doing both readings and teaching. I have been in private practice for over 25 years, and was part of the healer’s group at Dolphin Dream in Pleasant Hill, and currently, at Angel Heart 4 You in Benicia. I’m inspired by friends and colleagues, and am a passionate fan of the K-pop sensation, the group BTS, whose highly danceable albums stem from Jungian psychology (check out “Map of the Soul: Persona”). They spoke at the UN on a theme I wholeheartedly support: “love yourself; speak yourself.” But enough about me! I’m interested in you. Those who come for a one-time reading, several sessions, or longer-term work enter a positive, accepting, deeply knowledgable place for self-understanding and transformation.
